The marble is cut as clean, flat slabs sitting perfectly flush with the adjacent plaster. A seamless, contemporary look that lets the natural veining of the stone speak without distraction.

A crisp ¼–½ inch recessed gap between the stone and the surrounding wall creates a dark shadow line around the perimeter — making the heavy marble appear to float elegantly within the wall plane.

Vertical grooves carved into the face of the marble from top to bottom. Adds neoclassical or Art Deco texture to the threshold, drawing the eye upward and catching the light in beautiful rhythmic patterns.

The sharp 90-degree corners of the marble are cut away at a 45-degree chamfer. This softens the visual transition from hallway into room, reducing the visual weight of the doorway while adding a highly tailored architectural detail.

Instead of sharp squared edges, the corners of the marble are completely rounded off. Creates a softer, more organic transition — pairs exceptionally well with lime-washed or venetian plaster walls and a serene Mediterranean or wabi-sabi atmosphere.

The marble is milled with a series of receding, right-angled steps moving inward toward the door frame. Introduces sophisticated dimensional depth reminiscent of early 20th-century luxury architecture.

A classic S-shaped sweeping curve milled into the edge of the marble. Leans slightly traditional — yet when paired with a minimalist, modern interior creates a striking juxtaposition of old-world craftsmanship and contemporary design.

The centre face of the marble jamb is routed out, leaving a slightly raised perimeter border. Mimics the look of traditional wood-panelled door jambs but executes the concept in solid stone — heavier, grander, and entirely unique.
