This specification combines the highest-grade white Italian marble with the most architecturally classical of the carved profiles. Statuario's fine grain holds the fluting precisely (the stone takes carved detail better than any other Apuan marble); the result is a fluted cased opening with the crispness of architectural drawing rendered in stone.
For Statuario specifically, this combination represents the upper end of our Archway range. The slab cost is premium; the fabrication takes longer than for less carving-intensive profiles; the result is a piece that reads as architecturally significant in any context.
